چکیده

Mechanical rotation and oscillation have far lower frequencies than light does; thus they are not coupled to each other conventionally. In this Letter, we show the torsional mechanical of an optical cavity can be modes by introducing birefringence, which produces nondegenerate in cavity: ordinary extraordinary rays. Twisting mixes them modulates electromagnetic energy. We find optomechanical Hamiltonian quantising total energy reveal resonantly driven light.
